Wonderfully softened and squishy, she's been carried extensively but is still a lovely condition throughout.
The leather is in a super condition, as is a testiment to the hardiness of Mulberry Goatskin. One small, catch to the surface of the upper, front RH side, (only visible when you angle the bags), the corners are very good and there is a natural, diagonal striation to the base, present from purchase.
Wibbly-wobbly flap edges at all four top corners, as happens with this design but this all forms part of the character of this fabulous bag.
The shoulder straps display some minor softening but no creasing and the inking (edge sealent) is a little worn and dried to the tops and leather loops that attach the straps, as results from the flexing from movement. A little inking loss to the inner corner of the LH front, (see photos above) you'd never see any of these issues unless inspecting extremely closely.
The hardware is bright and shiny though the chunky zip pulls and serial number disc display little surface dinks, light scratches and paling, but no tarnish or oxidisation.
Please note that the top strap is a proper buckle design on the large Mabel, not a self locating popper as on smaller models.
Divided into three sections, the middle being fully lined in Mulberry Tree repeat fabric, with a side zip security pocket and closing with a smooth running riri zip. The outer two are lined in soft black suede. No stains, issues or aromas, just showing gentle wear as commensurate with use.
The unwritten on luggage label with disc, serial number to reverse hangs to the side.
Please note a very, very slight and pleasant perfumed aroma. Barely there and will air quickly with use.
