in Chocolate Darwin leather with antiqued brass hardware.

This is how Mulberry describe the Piccadilly - "The Piccadilly celebrates the beauty of understated natural leather, and is the largest member of the iconic Bayswater family. Featuring a classic postman's lock fastening and a hidden padlock in the leather fob, an inside belt strap to enable widening for extra space, three internal pockets (one zipped), and a soft buffed leather interior to showcase the exception leather quality.

A seriously substantial, craftsman made piece. Its sturdy construction and huge capacity make it the perfect travel bag.

Darwin leather is one of Mulberys finest and most durable hides that continues to grow even more lovely as it ages.

 

 Condition - Good Used to Very Good

 

Details -

The leather is in a super condition throughout. Thick, strong and incredibly robust with a few of the usual, light surface scuffs and just one small scrape on the LH side panel, near the base corner, (see photo above)

Nicely supple, so comfortable to carry, (see photos of the bag when empty) there's no real wear, just some gentle lightening to the corners and where the bag has been laid flat in storage.

The shoulder straps are firm, well shaped with all inking (edge sealent) intact though slightly dry to the bases of the handle inserts.

Hardware is very good with light friction rubs between the two plates and around the turnlock hole on the Postmans Lock Plate. The apex of the base feet show wear and loss of finish which appears as silver beneath.

The interior shows general light use, ruffling and a small, pale, circular mark to the inner base at the front. The adjustable belt is strong and all stitching in place and strong.
