This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Ledbury

in Olive Darwin leather with brass hardware.

An easy to use, hand-held vintage style on which the current Small Bayswater Satchel was based. Crafted from a thick, robust Khaki / Sage toned hide, an adjustable internal belt varies the aperture and the darwin leather aroma is absolutely heavenly!

Details -

A lovely curvy silhouette, the shape is firm and leather without wear.

The usual light darwin scuffs but corners and curves are excellent and top handles well shaped with only slight inking rubs to the inner bases.

Light surface impressions from the handle bases to the top flap, as is commonly seen on these pieces, there are two small areas of stray inking to the front LH and RH side of the flap, as present from the time of purchase, (see close up photos above).

Hardware is very good with some scratching to the sides of the turnlock end and light friction rubs around the hole on the Postmans Lock Plate.

General colour mottling and tonal variation throughout with very slight fading beneath the top flap, the internal suede has minor discolouration and ruffling from use.

As is common on pieces made during this era, there is no serial number on the back of the internal disc
