The Louis Vuitton Mahina Collection was inspired by the phases and crescents of the moon. In Polynesian culture, Mahina is a lunar deity. The collection uses Mahina leather which has been drummed softly to pull up the grain and the skins are then coated to preserve their beauty. 

 A beautiful, blouson shaped hobo with a chic and feminine silhoutte, its crafted from a deeply grained, supple and slouchy hide.

A rich caramel toffee tone.....the leather is lightly sheened with a glorious squidgy texture and its literally melt-into-a-puddlesome soft.

Details -

The leather is in an amazing condition throughout. A small, very vague dark smudge to the RH side panels strap, (see photo above), the remainder of the leather is perfect. 

The perforated monograms are precise without pulls or catches and there is no visible wear at all. Rolled trims, seams and stitching are perfect with just some general softening to the smooth panels. Edging is all in place and the shoulder straps firm, colour consistent without darkening.

The hardware is bright and shiny without any dulling, tarnish or oxidisation. Base feet show slight paling to their apex where they have been place down. The front pushlock displays inevitable light surface scratching and some tiny surface dinks, but no loss of finish or issue.

The interior is lined in clean soft, clean chocolate alacantre with a zipped pocket and D ring.
