This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Small Bayswater Satchel (substandard)

in  Red Onion High Pebbled Patent Leather

with shiny, dark silver nickel hardware.

Crafted from a wonderfully rain restisant and fabulously textured, rich purple crinkly patent......its like a beautiful, blackcurrant boiled sweet!

Details-

 Deeply textured, liquid patent leather literally glowing with glossiness, there's no wear, no marks, scratches or immediate signs of wear and without close inspection looks perfect throughout.

However, on very close inspection you can just about see very light rubbing* to the corners which has resulted in some minor loss of gloss lacquer on the rear two.  Extremely difficult to see its almost completely camoflagued by the nature of the finish.

Hardware is excellent with only a couple of miniscule, hairline scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate, some light scratches to the underside and protective film remains in place on the base plate. The turnlock has a slight creak but this doesn't affect the use of the bag in any way.

The reason for the Substandard categorisation is due to a semi circular area of discoloration on one side of the long shoulder strap, see photo above. Well hidden in use, this has likely been caused by inking, (edge sealent) in construction. There is a light sit mark where the buckle has been set.

Inking is intact throughout, handles are well shaped and bases firm, with stitching strong and the interior is self lined in clean, lightly ruffled, soft black suede.
