The leather is fabulous. A rich cherry red tone with lots of natural antiqued creasing and variations inherent to a wonderfully sheened Vitello Shine finish.

Packaging only removed for photos, its been stored carefully since purchase and appears perfect in every way. Only on the very closest of inspections can you note a small surface scratch* to the base LH corner, extremely well camoflagued by the striated nature of the leather, (see last photo above)

Pretty umbrella stitching to the top handles, the interior is fully lined in thick cherry sateen with a leather, side slip pocket.
