This is a fabulously aged,

100% authentic Mulberry Elgin

in black darwin leather with antiqued brass hardware.

Now a vintage piece, its rare for the Nest to sell such a Well Loved piece but this Mulberry is just utterly stunning.

A roomy tote bag, ideal for A4 files, crafted from Mulberrys wonderful thick, supple and extra creasy, original darwin leather.

Two adjustable external belts vary the aperture so you can have it gathered or quite open. The top seals with a self locating popper that comes over to close.

A rare treat from Mulberry's finest design era and one of those fabulous bags thats just got better and better with age and use.

Very robust, extremely strong leather, its super comfortable to wear and is a real work-horse of a bag.

Condition - Well Used

Details - 

The leather is amazing. Gloriously glossy with a fabulous texture thats developed though time and love.

Nicely softened, almost sublimely squidgey (see photo of her empty) with a beautiful, rich grain throughout, there are no marks, scuffs or scratches and she positively oozes old school charm.

Hardware is very good, stitching is all in place and strong but there is drying and wearing to the inking (edge sealent) throughout.

The shoulder straps are slightly softened though not stretched or sticky and display inking loss and drying to the edges.

The interior suede is ruffled and discoloured as happens with use. There is a leather zipped pocket to the rear.

Made in England, the fabulous workmanship and style is the epitome of Mulberry's glory years and its a bag with many, many more years of service left to give.
