This is a 100% authentic Mulberry regular sized Alexa

in Nightshade Blue Large Silky Snake printed leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

Now, so sadly discontinued, the Alexa is a casual satchel style day bag you can wear on the shoulder, cross body or carry by hand.

Details -

A lovely supple Alexa in a glorious, inky blue tone, the leather is in a very good condition throughout.

No peeled or lifted away scales, though as an intricately hand-carved leather, it immediately shows dimension with use and due to its inherent nature, the scales begin to curl very slightly at the edges with the natural movement of the bag. This is a characteristic of the hide and not a fault.

The rear base corners display some minor loss of colour, not wear, which appears as a slightly lighter tone.

The plait top handle is firm without any wear to the inking (edge sealant), and the long, detachable strap is excellent also.

The postmans lock plate displays some light surface scratches, light friction rubbing to the underside of the plate and the reason for the *rating is the scratching to the metal clad strap tip ends.

The top flap is lined in soft, black suede and the interior is lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree repeat fabric with a leather trimmed slip section and zipped pocket.
