Mulberry Somerset Despatch Satchel

in a beautiful, dark chocolate, tumbled leather with antiqued brass hardware.

The original styling to the Somerset satchel with a top flap that comes over the top, this practical and lovely unisex bag can be worn on the shoulder or as a messenger.

Two useful front pockets and fully lined with a zip pocket, the top flap comes over to seal by way of two concealed magnetic fastners.

So rare to now find, especially in such an amazing condition.

At first glance this beautiful bag looks as-new.

The leather is so richly grained and characterful. Really robust, without any wear whatsoever.

A very small dimple to the surface of the leather to the RH side of the disc, (left of hanging plait feature zip pull), the corners are perfect, the detachable shoulder strap is unrubbed, all hardware is perfect and the interior entirely clean.

Only on the very closest of physical inspections can you note that that there is a slightly less tight stitch* on the LH rear upper side, than the RH side. Most likely that the craftsman has not pulled the stitching as taught as he / she should. This is not a 'lost' stitch, its all completely intact and sound and does not effect the bag either structurally or aesthetically.

As always, any consideration to condition has been reflected in the price.

Please note there is no serial number on the disc as Mulberry did not put them on all their bags at the time this lovely bag was crafted.
