No wear to the leather whatsoever, corners are perfect, stitching strong and all inking intact throughout
The shoulder straps well shaped without darkening, just a little softened at the bases and the ostrich 'dots' are less pronounced here than the rest of the bag.
Though she'll stand up when empty, she's quite a unstructured Bayswater and whilst not one to 'puddle' her bottom and sides are nicely softened, creasy and squidgy, (oh, if this was such a good look on the rest of us!)
The hardware is very good with light scratches to the base feet and some very small hairline squiggle scratches to the upper RH and lower RH of the Postmans Lock Plate. Protective film remains in place between the top and bottom plates.
Lined in clean, soft beige suede with a zipped pocket and two slip sections.
The reason this stunning Basywater has been designated Substandard (by the 'O' imprinted to the inner badge) is due to two small smudges of stray inking, (edge sealent), one on the front RH side and one on the base, (see last two photos above). Extremely difficult to see and if you didn't know there were there, you'd never find them, however this has been reflected in the price.
