Balenciaga Hobo in Marine Blue Chevre

with Giant 21 gold tone hardware.

A superb, easy to wear and exceptionally light to carry hobo, this style is no longer available from Balenciaga and was produced in small numbers, so is rare to now find.

Crafted from a robust, lightly glazed antiqued goatskin, its super-soft and slouchy and just perfect in the rain!

Details -

A wonderfully smooshy hide, there's no wear to the leather whatsoever, just that glorious, crackly sheen that gives these bags so much character.

A teeny 2mm surface dink to the middle reverse of the bag, (see photo above), which sits in the middle of one of the hides natural long creases. Its not a scratch, (sometimes the ultra-close up photos make it look like there are issues that aren't there!) and is barely even visible to the naked eye.

Beautifully softened, there is no wear to the corner piping, hardware is all pristine, the mirror is exellent with only some softening and kinking to the attached tassles, (no splitting). The shoulder strap is very good with a miniscule rub to the inking, (edge sealent) between the clean whipstitching, as shown.

The only reason this lovely bag hasn't achieved an Excellent rating is due to the drying and crackling to the inking around the side handle loops, where it attaches to the metal O rings. A commonly seen feature of this finish, its much less noticable in use than the photos make this appear.

The interior is fully lined in clean, black cotton with a side zipped pocket.
