 This is a 100% authentic Chanel 226 Reissue Mademoiselle Flap

in black distressed calfskin with Gold tone bijoux jewellery chain.

 A nicely structured flap, not soft or supple but wonderfully stiff with that glorious aged, creasy feel to the leather. Fabulously robust, its complimented by a beautiful embellished chain.

Dress it up or wear it casual. A stunning Chanel.... as at home in the day as in the evening.

Details

Superb leather with that amazing ability to change colour in the light. Undertones of grey gunmetal with midnight hues, the texure seems to bring a depth to its beauty that flatter finishes just don't possess.

No wear whatsoever, corners and flap edges are perfect, just the gentle creases that are part of the natural construction of these pieces and a tiny 3mm surface impression* to reverse RH side of the bag, see photo above.

The mademoiselle lock is very good with only the very slightest paling to the gold tone, at the end corners of the regtangular turnlock. The photos make it look like there is a vertical line on the end but this is purely a reflection of the light.

The embossed chain displays slight paling, but no dulling or tarnish and compliments the distressed finish with its lovely, almost two tone, silver hints.

Some extremely light fingernail scuffs to the burgundy calfskin lining, only visible on very close inspection if you angle the bag.
