Mulberry Belle in Oak Kenya Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Belle in Oak printed Kenya Leather with antiqued brass hardware.

A compact day bag or roomy evening bag, its wonderfully versitile as you can remove the shoulder strap and carry as a clutch.

(If you have a long shoulder strap you can attach this and wear cross body too, but this isn't included in the sale)

Crafted from Mulberrys fabulous oak Kenya leather, its a hide that grows even more attractive with age and use.

Wonderfully seasoned with a rich, even tone, the print is beautifully spaced and the texture glorious.

Condition - Well Used

Details -

No wear to the curves or corners, the leather has a deep, developed patina which only comes through use, time and lots of natural oils.

There are light surface scuffs throughout, a small scratch to the RH side loop securing the D-ring and a 13mm scratch to the top flap, (see last photo above). All extremely well camoflagued by the textural print, there are lots of tonal changes to the caramel oak which only add to its charm.

The shoulder strap is well shaped, not softened or darkened with some minor crackling to the inking, (edge sealant) which can also be noted at the sides of the bag and the curve of the top flap, where the leather flexes.

The hardware shows general use with friction rubbing beneath the top plate, some loss of finish to the base plate and around the turnlock hole of the Postmans Lock.

The interior is lined in clean Mulberry tree chocolate fabric with a useful little front pocket.

Please do take note of the measurements as this is a compact Mulberry and often the mannequin (a UK 8) can have the effect of making bags look larger than they are.
