This is a very pretty, 100% authentic Mulberry Rosemary

in a trio of coconut, tan and coffee Rio leather with bronze finish hardware.

 

Becoming harder to now find, the Rosey is a smaller version of the Roxanne, with the useful addition of a shoulder strap.

A perfect bag for everyday, its compact but more than enough room for the essentials and the woven leather gives it a wonderful depth of texture and tone.

At first glance this Rosey appears to be in a superb condition as has been carried very lightly. Virtually no signs of wear and the shape is still excellent, without softening or creasing, (even though Rio is quite a soft leather)
 
The corners are excellent, with just the very slightest of cracking to the inking, the strap clean, unsoftened and undarkened with inking all perfect and the interior is similarly pristine.
 
However, on closer inspection you can note some marks to the top handles, (see Photo Gallery below) and the coconut leather displays some mild discoloration* in places.
 
The suede ears to the side and the undersides of the front pocket flaps show this discoloration also, so I can only think it must be a element of the original dye batch that is mellowing with age.
 
The lovely bronze finish to the hardware is all extremely good and unrubbed and there is a fabulous, rich Mulberry leather smell that permeates from this Rosey....(it does become addicitve, you know!)
