Mulberry Blenheim (Vintage) in Black Antique Glace Leather - SOLD

 This is a vintage, 100% authentic Mulberry Blenheim

in Black Antique Glace leather with bronze finish hardware.

A rare to now find, baby Roxanne, crafted from a fabulously glossy and robust, thick antique glace leather, (darwin which has been heat treated to give it a delightful crackly finish sheen.)

Compact but large enough for everyday, the Blenheim is an ergonomic shoulder bag with two useful front pockets.

Light to carry and easy to use, the top flaps go over one another and the strap comes over to seal with a self locating popper.

No longer available to buy from Mulberry direct, the Blenhiem is a Mulberry gem and we miss them greatly!

Details -

A wonderfully thick and stiff leather with a beautiful glaze, its perfect in the rain and is a hide that lasts and lasts.

Standing up when empty, (see photo gallery below) its a testiment to all the use its received as though the hardware finish is well worn and the inking, (edge sealant) is dry and rubbed in places, it still looks like a magnificent bag.

Light fingernal scuffs to the finish, some natural striations and a vague reddish mark to the top flap, (concealed by the top strap that comes over to close), the front RH side pocket's popper closes (and stays closed), but its magnetism is a little weak.

Sit marks to either side of the shoulder strap, where the buckle has been set, the strap is well shaped, firm though inking to the edges of the comfort pad has worn.

The interior is self lined suede and shows general ruffling and discolouration with three marks to the base as shown below.
