in Oak darwin leather with antiqued brass hardware

A beautiful large tote bag, in Mulberrys thick, supple and wonderfully robust darwin leather.

Super comfortable to wear with acres of room inside, its a rare treat from Mulberry's finest design era.

Condition - Well Used

Details - 

The leather is stunning lovely. A rich deep oak shade with a fabulous creasiness and deeply grained texture.

Glossy, robust and smells absolutely divine....that heady, darwin aroma that you just don't get with any other leather.

Lots of patina to the shoulder straps, still firm and well shaped, the inking, (edge sealant) is intact but dry.

Corners are very good, again with dry inking and light rubs and there is a small mark to the RH front and a black mark to the rear base seam, (see Photo Gallery below).

One stitch has come away from behind the RH front handle, but its not going further, so doesn't affect the bag structurally or aesthetically.

Two adjustable external belts vary the aperture so you can have it gathered or quite open.

The interior is clean, just ruffled with use. There is a large leather zipped pocket and the strap comes over the top to seal with a self locating popper.

Made in England, the fabulous workmanship and style is the epitome of Mulberry's glory years.
