Chanel Maxi XL Jumbo Flap Bag in Black Lambskin with Gold Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic,

vintage Chanel Maxi XL flap bag

in black lambskin leather with shiny Gold hardware.

Condition -  Very Good*

Details - 

Well shaped and colour consistent, the lamsbkin leather is fabulous throughout.

Clean, still with some puffiness, the corners and flap edges show no wear whatsoever and there is relatively little creasing to the form.

Some minor surface impressions to the reverse top curve of the flap and LH base corner from the chain resting against the leather in storage. These will lift with time.

The hardware is stunning. Bright, shiny without dulling or tarnish to the exterior, both the interwoven chain strap and CC clasp are excellent with just hairline polish scratches and some friction rubbing around the turnlock hole.

The base plate of the clasp and the interior eyelets displays some very slight oxidisation but no loss of plating or paling.

The interior is entirely clean with only a few very light fingernail scuffs and a little stretching to the leather slip pocket (see Photo Gallery below)

The reason this beautiful Chanel hasn't achieved an Excellent rating and has a * is due to the vintage aroma. Only slight from the exterior, it is present inside and has been reflected in the price.
