Carried extensively, this Mulberry is a testiment to the hardwearing nature of Congo. Still stiff and glossy with a fabulously spaced print and that wonderful, heady leather aroma.
Lightening to the base corners, (not wear) the top flap has softened with use and there are lots of surface scuffs and scratches throughout, (all shown in the Photo Gallery below)
Handle bases show inking (edge sealant) loss and have most likely been re-glued at some point). The shoulder straps are nicely firm and well shaped, again displaying wear and inking dryness / loss to the sides.
The Postmans lock plate is scratched and there are friction rubs between the top plate and bottom plate.
The interior is clean but ruffled, as happens with this finish with a zipped pocket and two slip sections.
Overall, a superb example of proper old-style Mulberry at its finest and a bag that looks so much better in the flesh than a listing of its faults makes it sound!
