This is a 100% authentic Mulberry regular sized Alexa

in Nightshade Blue Large Silky Snake printed leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

Details -

Well shaped and firm, though not a structured Alexa, the leather is in a lovely condition throughout. A much less delicate finish than most people imagine, there's no peeling or lifting up of the scales and its nicely supple, moulding to your side for comfort. Pop a felt liner inside for a less casual look, the deep inky blue colour can be dressed up or down with your mood.

Light signs of use to the base corners, this intricately hand-carved leather will immediately show dimension and due to its inherent nature, the scales will begin to curl very slightly at the edges with the natural movement of the bag. This is a characteristic of the hide and not a fault.

The plait top handle is firm, without wear and the long detachable strap is excellent also with all inking (edge sealant) and stitching excellent throughout.

The reason for the * rating is the scratches to the metal clad strap tips at the front of the bag, (see Photo Gallery below). Some friction rubbing between the top and bottom lock plates and scratches to the turnlock end. The front of the Postmans Lock Plate is very good with only a few miniscule hairline scratches visible on close inpsection.

The interior is lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree repeat fabric with a leather trimmed slip section and zipped pocket.
