This is a fabulous

100% authentic Mulberry Roxanne

in Black Antiqued Glace leather with bronze finish hardware.

Antique Glace leather is darwin which has been heat treated to give it a delightful sheen and ultra-robust finish.

Thick scrumptious leather, stiff and very robust, the bronze hardware contrasts wonderfully.

Not a light bag to carry, its very roomy though and ideal if you like a more structured style that won't sag.

Details -

The leather is wonderfully thick, still stiff and yet to soften. Very strong, its impervious to rain and ages beautifully.

A rich, crackly gloss which camoflagues surface scuffs perfectly.... there is a light scratch to the reverse of the bag on the RH side, but its very difficult to see in use as the reflective nature of the finish is hugely forgiving.

Inking is all excellent, stitching strong and the shoulder straps are well shaped and unsoftened.

The D rings, buckles and rivets themselves are excellent, with hardly any loss of finish, but there is some aging to the rivets on the front of the bag, in particular on the interior of the bag. Over time, Mulberry hardware can acquire a 'green' ageing around the edges, which is removable with a mild, astringent cleaner.

The main point to note is that one of the Mulberry rivets* has been replaced on the reverse RH side of the bag, (see Photo Gallery below). Whilst this doesn't affect the bag structurally or aesthetically, (and not noticable unless you inspect very closely) the colouration of the rivet is very slightly different, as the bronze finish hardware has now been discontinued.

 Entirely clean suede interior -Made in Turkey. No serial number which is common on Mulberrys made at this time.
