This is a very rare to now find,

100% authentic Louis Vuitton Ambre PM Tote

in transparent monogram vinyl with vachette leather trims, tortoise shell links and golden brass hardware.

Part of the Limited Edition Ambre Cabas Cruise Collection, though its the PM size there's plenty of room inside and comes complete with detachable leather zip pouch.

Last available retail price (2004) was $1,220

Details - 

The smoked vinyl is clean, bright and not cloudy with just the slightest surface 'smudges' (not scratches) as seems to occur of the surface of this finish. Still nicely supple, there are no cracks, drying or splitting and the motifs are unrubbed throughout.

The hardware is good with the usual light surface scratches, no tarnish though the embossed feet to the base display more noticable scratches and paling from use.

The vachetta has honeyed with general creasing and light markings though no water stains. Lots of surface impressions around the base trim and to the base, though there is virtually no wear to the leather the corners. The detachable zip purse similarly shows patina and surface scratches.

The beautiful, opaque tortoise shell shoulder strap links are very good with a beautiful colouration and smooth finish.

The interior base is lined in clean microfibre/
