This is a 100% authentic Mulberry East West Bayswater

in chocolate natural vegetable tanned leather

with antiqued brass hardware.

A perfect size for everyday and a true shoulder-bag, its comfortable to wear, light to carry but sadly no longer available from Mulberry direct.

Purchased from Fenwicks in Newcastle in November 2009, this lovely EW Bays has some issues which are reflected in the price and condition categorisation.

A rich, dark chocolate leather, nicely thick and grainy to the main body, (one natural striation to the front as shown below), there is no wear to the corners but the top flap appears to have been crafted from a thinner density hide. Well softened with floppy flaps, the front area beneath the postmans lock is irregular, and though you don't notice this unless looking closely, its not a perfect bag.

Handle bases are a little dry, but inking is intact throughout and the shoulder straps still stiff and unsoftened. Hardware is very good with just scratches to the end of the turnlock.

Nice clean interior, there is a scratch to the leather loop that attaches the disc and the interior belt loops have minor tears* to the top. This doesn't affect the bag structurally in any way.
