The exterior of the case is in a very good condition throughout. Colour consistent, well defined texture with just a few extremely light surface scuffs . Strong and resilient, the corners show slight softening, wear and minor inking (edge sealent) crackling.
Structurally sound, the undersides of the front straps show some scratching and dryness (see Photo Gallery) and hardware has dulled from age, though this does enhance the overall, rather 'stately' look of the peice.
The sturdy, leather top handle shows some surface rubbing to the colour tone but all stitching is intact and overall, this is quite a magnificent LV.
The main reason for the Well Used categorisation is due to the use to the interior. Lots of light fingernail scuffs to the leather with one small catch to the surface on the underside of the top flap, as shown.
There is discolouration to the alacantre lining on the LH internal side panel, (not visible unless inspecting very closely) and general ruffling to the finish.
An area of marking to the calfskin lining from use and some general rubbing which has caused light flaking to the corner areas.
A much nicer briefcase in the flesh than a listing of its faults make it sound and one that will last and last.
