Mulberry Ledbury in Black Wrinkled Patent Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Ledbury

in black 'wrinkled' patent leather with shiny silver tone hardware.

A fabulously textured and supple naplak patent, at first glance this lovely Ledbury appears to be in an excellent condition but there is an issue which has been expressly reflected in the price.

Details-

Light and easy to carry, its well shaped and crafted from a wonderfully rain proof finish so a bag you will never need to baby.

 A highly reflective finish, any white 'marks' in the photos are light reflections from the camera and not marks on the leather.

Some light scratches to the postmans lock and rubbing to the underneath plates from friction, the corners are unworn and the interior fully lined in clean, black suede.

The top handles are similarly good displaying a littl softening to bases and crackling to the inking on the sides.

The main point to note is the 'split'* to the finish on the RH side of the top flap which is very commonly found on this leather due to the flexing of the hide beneath the surface layer of patent. Completely invisible in use and can only be seen if you hold the split 'apart', its incredibly well camoflagued by the reflective sheen.....even the Seller didn't notice this issue, it really is virtually imperceptible. However, this is not an issue that is remediable and has been reflected in the price.
