Superbly creasy, the patent is so wonderfully textured its almost like Naplak. Very little wear, the corners show light rubs and there is some inking loss to the top flap inlets, (anything that looks like a white mark is purely sunlight reflecting on the surface of the patent)
Light friction rubs beneath the base plate and scratching to the turnlock end, the front postmans lock displays minor scratches to the surface. Feet on the base are excellent.
Corners and handles are well shaped and unsoftened with inking intact, thought the handle bases show a little inking loss where they have flexed, (see Photo Gallery below)
The interior is fully lined in clean, soft black suede showing light use.
The main point to note is a small 3mm dink to the finish on the front LH side which is extremely well camoflagued in use, due to the highly reflective and creasy finish. Please see the last three photos below in the Gallery which show this mark as close up and as 'visibly' as possible. To the naked eye, you really do have to hunt and hunt to even see it!
