This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Black Ostrich Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

Mulberry's iconic Bayswater crafted from a fabulously soft, tactile and supple exotic hide in the deepest, darkest of blacks.

Gently glazed with gleaming, rich gold hardware it literally exudes luxury.

Details -

Firstly, don't let the Condition Rating put you off.....this is a truly magnificent Mulberry!

A naturally supple construction, (see photo when empty), you'll need to add in a Felt Liner if you prefer the more upright look.

No wear the leather. All corners, curves and piping excellent.

Colour consistent, glossy without being 'shiny' and all stitching strong.

The top flap is softened with that fabulous flopiness you get with a fully suede lined piece, so there's gentle undulations in the form.

The Postmans Lock Plate is excellent with only very light hairline scratches, barely visible, and there are light contact scratches to the underside plates from sitting together.

Base feet are similarly very good with only light scratches to their apex, (the black dots to their centres in the photos are reflections of the camera lens).

Shoulder straps are firm and well shaped with softened bases so they will naturally flop downwards when not placed upright or held.

The main reason this divine piece hasn't achieved a sole Very Good rating is due to the inking, (edge sealent) wear to the sides of the handle bases. Flex crackles and minor loss can be noted only on the closest of inspections and does not affect the use of the piece in any way.

Similarly the top aperture seam of the bag displays flex cracks to the two side curves, as shown with the zoom.

Lined in thick, lightly ruffled, clean black suede with a zipped pocket and two slip pockets.

Made in Spain.
