Mulberry Ivy Bayswater in Chocolate & Oak Darwin Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry 'Ivy' Bayswater in Chocolate & Oak Darwin Leather with Dark Antiqued Brass Hardware.

So rare to now find, especially in such an amazing condition, this Ivy Bayswater is one of those bags that makes you remember why Mulberry became great. 

 Crafted from the thickest, most glorious dark chocolate Darwin leather with old style 'glossy' lock plates, its adorned with applique Leafs & embroidery detailing with punchy, Brogue trims.

A very special, Vintage Mulberry.

Details-

The leather is utterly fabulous throughout. Still quite an upright silhouette, due to the thickness and robustness of the hide, with a wonderfully matte texture and characterful grain.

Well shaped and firm, there's no real wear....just a few very light fingernail scuffs, slight dryness at the base corner curves and rear shoulder strap which causes lightening in the tone. A coat of Colonill and moisturisation will remedy this in completeness. 

A natural, diagonal striation in the grain to the LH side panel, a small scuff and surface impresison to the middle of the base.

As is commonly seen on these pieces, there are surface impressions to the top flap from the handle base, rear inserts.

All inking, (edge sealent) and stitching firm.

Hardware is excellent (this particular finish is absolutely incredible for longevity), only the base feet disply light contact scratches to their apex from being placed down.

The interior is self lined in clean, ruffled chestnut coloured suede with a side zipped pocket and two slip sections.
