This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Rich Golden Brass Hardware.

The original Bayswater & so incredibly handsome, crafted from a stunning NVT hide reminiscent of Darwin Leather.

Some pieces stand apart....& this is one of them.

Details -

A thick, strong and robust hide, the silhouette is firm, upright and the piece still has quite a 'New' feel, despite being 5 years old.

A deep, consistent black shade with a particularly lovely, rich, gold finish to the hardware, protective film remains in place on internal buckles and Mulberry disc.

A vague shadow to the lower LH side of the Postmans Lock plate, there are minor friction scratches to the two underside plates.

Handles are perfectly shaped, all inking, (edge sealent) in place and stitching strong.

As is commonly seen on these pieces there are impressions to the top flap from the inner handle bases.  Due to the fabulous denseness of this hide, the surface of the grain here has flattened, as shown.

No wear to the corner curves, just one small rub to the seam edge on the RH side of the base, (shown in the last, quad photo collage, above).

A tiny dot scuff to the front, RH side of the bag and a barely there, diagonal fingernal scuff to the front, lower LH side, (only visible if you angle the bag to view). A diagonal vein in the hide on the front, upper LH side of the bag, again extremely hard to see and an entirely natural feature of these hides. All shown in the last, quad photo collage, above.

The interior is self lined in entirely clean suede with a zipped pocket and twin slip pockets. There is some minor linear flattening to the pile on the top flap and gentle ruffling.
