 This is a 100% authentic Chanel Checkerboard Small Boy in Black Quilted Calfskin with Black and White Geometric Trim and Ruthenium Hardware.

Details -

Without close inspection, this beautiful Boy looks to be in an Excellent condition.

Firm, well shaped with puffy quilt and a robust silhouette, its one of those bags that goes with everything whilst making a statement.

Stitching all tight, antiqued-silver ruthenium hardware perfect and pristine shoulder strap.

The smooth, calfskin leather of the side panels and base are excellent with just one, barely there, diagonal fingernail scratch to the LH side of the base, as shown.

The interior is lined in clean, black, grossgrain textile with a tiny, vague, white mark to the fabric to the lower RH side of the 'Chanel Made in Italy' badge, on the slip pocket.

A small, curved surface impression to the leather of the interior flap, on the lower LH side, as shown, (present at the time of purchase).

Corners and curves to three sides display only the lightest use however there is a scuff to the white trim of the rear LH corner's base edge which has grazed the leather, (see photo above). Extremely hard to see with the naked eye, as the colour camoflagues it well.

Very gentle surface colour rubs to four of the black calfskin chequers on the border, from friction contact, as shown.

The reason for the * rating is due to the five, small glue marks to the white leather of the geometric trim. Present from construction, the substance is stray adhesive used by the craftsman and would have been invisible when produced, only yellowing with time. One to the upper LH sides top curve, to the very edge if the white trim (see the photo also showing surface rub to the black calfskin). One to the front lower, LH side, near the corner curve. One to the rear, upper LH side, by the side edge, on to the lower LH rear, by the base corner curve and one just to the side of this on the seam.  All shown in close up detail above (and from angles making them most visible), they are much less noticable in real life.
