Well shaped, it will stand upright with a gently rounded silhouette and a nice suppleness that makes it a joy to carry.
Top handles are well shaped, not creasy or softened and though edging is slighty dry, its all in place. Please note, this is a hand-held or crook of arm bag only, as the drop is not suitable for the shoulder.
The zipped top runs smoothly and cleanly, opening wide for easy access and the 'H' Constance clad corners give it that instant Hermés recognisability, without shouting.
The hide itself is fabulous. Colour consistent....a deep midnight blue, there is no wear to the leather, just one very small, light scuff to the rear, lower RH corner, (see photo above).
A long, horizontal scuff along the middle of base, (you need to angle the bag to view it properly) and a small surface impression, these are of course only visible if you turn the bag upside down!
Stitching is ruffled to all four base corner curves, from being placed down and there is drying and rubbing to the edging (sealent) of the side 'H' panelling. Shown in close up detail in the gallery above, this can easily be improved by the application of the correct colour Colonill Cream.
Lots of scratches to the hardware with surface tarnish as shown, (and is the main reason for the Condition Rating). Much less noticable in use.
The interior is fully lined in a beautiful, soft, dark navy calfskin displaying numerous light fingernail scratches and a couple of marks, near tbe base seam and to the end of the zip run (by the Riri M6 zip)
