This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oxblood Coloured Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny Gold Tone Hardware.

Made in England, from a beautifully thick, morello cherry / black forest toned natural vegetable tanned hide....a finish, so sadly, no longer produced by Mulberry.

A wonderfully characterful, sturdy and traditional piece, its everthing we knew and loved from Mulberry's yesteryear.

Reminiscent of Darwin of old, this is a bag that will just get better and better with age and use, growing old more gracefully than any more recent leathers.

 Details -

A strong and robust style with a gently softened silhouette, it will stand empty with a lovely suppleness that will develop further with use (see photo above).

A heady leather aroma, so imediately recognisable as classic Mulbery, its so utterly delicious you really do just want to get inside and close the flap!

Glossy, grainy and characterful, its been carried carefully but as is inevitable with this finish there are a few very light surface scratches and lightening* to the colour on the base corner curves, (not wear) as is commonly seen on these pieces.

Stitching all strong and inking (edge sealent) in place with some light wear to the two front handle base rear 'V's'.

Shoulder straps are firm and well shaped with a couple of very small light surface scratches to the middle front one.

Hairline scratches to the rich gold tone Postmans Lock Plate, with finish loss to the turnlock's sides, though this isn't visible to the naked eye.

Scratches to the perimeter of the two underside plates from contact friction.

Protective film remains in place on the base feet.

 Self lined in entirely clean suede with a zipped pocket and two slips.
