This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Small Darley Satchel in Black Croc Embossed Nappa with brushed gold (brass) hardware.

This compact, semi structured flap bag (first released as the Postmans Lock Satchel and subsquently rebranded into the Darley family), is crafted from from a firm, printed Calf Nappa.

Lightly glazed its the perfect finish between the new 'Matt' but not as Shiny as 'Shiny Croc'.

Lined in soft, smooth, black nappa leather with 3 credit card slots there's also a useful additional slip pocket to the external rear of the bag.

Remove the strap to carry as a clutch, wear on the shoulder or cross body....its a wonderfully light, easy to use and versatile piece

Details -

Without close inspection this lovely piece looks in an excellent condition.

Perfectly shaped, entirely colour consistent, an attractive and well spaced print without visible wear or scuffs.

As is common with this glazed finish however, the surface can be prone to fingernail markings and numerous light scratches* can be noted to the hide. A long curved one to the upper, LH front of the flap, a couple to the lower front and two small rain spots to the surface. A few to the rear and also LH side panel of the bag, all shown in the Gallery above.

All inking (edge sealent) and stitching in place and the shoulder strap excellent, without issue.

Hairline scratches to the front Postmans Lock Plate and paling to the end of the turnlock, much less visible to the naked eye than the photos makes this appear.

Light fingernail scratches to the smooth nappa lining of the interior side of the flap and lower base. There are a few minor surface impressions around the smooth nappa lining around postmans lock aperture, as shown.
