This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Small Bayswater Satchel in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with brass hardware.

Crafted from a thick, glossy and fabulously characterful NVT hide, (now so sadly discontinued) this classic SBS is an ideal everyday bag.

Details -

A thick, ultra robust hide, reminiscent of Darwin of old, its a curvy, rounded silhouette with just the right amount of softening without being slouchy, (see photo of the bag empty)

Entirely colour consistent, no wear to corners or curves, all stitching in place and the inking (edge sealent) in place throughout.

No marks, scuffs, scrapes or scratches, just lots of fabulous creasiness and character.....its one of those amazing hides that makes you remember why you always loved Mulberry.

Top handles are firm and well shaped, the front one sitting naturally downwards when the bag is carried on the shoulder, (see photo above).

Please note the pressure indentations and flattening to the grain to the top flap, caused by the two rear base handle inserts as is commonly found on this model.

The Postmans Lock Plate and underside plate are excellent. Surface mottling to the finish on the base plate (no tarnish, oxidisation or loss of finish), the turnlock has a slight 'creak' and there are friction related scratches to the sides of the turnlock end. All forming part of the wonderful character of the piece.

Long detachable shoulder or cross body strap is excellent with the lightest sit impression where the buckle's been set previously.

Clean, self lined interior with a side zipped pocket. Minor, age related discolouration to the suede nap on the top flap.

Made in Turkey.

Top Handles are fixed with mid point drop of 8cm and long, detachable strap is adjustable (123cm - 138cm end to end) with a drop from 56cm to 65cm
