 This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Annie Shoulder Bag in Black Darwin Leather with Brass hardware.

 A perfectly proportioned shoulder hobo with two useful front pockets and pretty ball and staff flap closure, this amazing Annie is crafted from an absolutely delicious Darwin hide.

Used and loved, she may be vintage but she's even more beautiful than the day she was born and a Mulberry that you'll never need to baby!

Details -

The leather is stunning. Thick, creasy and robust...Darwin really was a superior hide to the hides of today and the heady rich aroma is literally intoxicating!

Nicely softened (see photo of her empty) with that beautiful glossiness that only develops with time and care, there's little in the wear of visible wear just lots of natural striations and light wear to the lower base and corner curves.

The front pocket flap edges have a little upward curl, as is commonly seen on this design, the top flap that comes over to close is floppy and the shoulder straps are well softened, though not sticky or stretched.

All stitching in place throughout but inking (edge sealent) is worn and absent to the shoulder straps and these would benefit from being renewed, (though doesn't affect the use of the bag in any way)

Hardware shows general surface scratching to the embossed ball staff of the closure, rivets and buckles with some tarnish visible on close inspection to the front LH sides pocket buckle, on the inner RH embossed side, (see close up photo).

Self lined in ruffled suede with a Mulberry tree fabric zipped pocket, the suede displays age related discoloration.

A much lovelier lady than the listing makes her sound and a piece that reminds you why Mulberry became great.
