Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Printed Vegetable Tanned Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Printed Vegetable Tanned Leather with Brass Hardware.

A fabulous Croc Printed pattern in Mulberrys finest NVT leather, so sadly now discontinued, this dark caramel delight is a true work horse of a bag.

Details -

A firm silhouette, this super strong, extra robust Bays has been used and enjoyed but is still in a very attractive condition.

Well shaped and upright, (see photo above when empty), the mixed sized scale pattern is glorious spaced with a glossy finish and there's no immediately visible wear to the hide, just the usual gentle drying to the corner curves and natural scuffs and surface scratches to the leather that form part of the character of these pieces.

Shoulder straps are softened and will sit downwards when not held, with slight patina and darkening but all inking is in place.

Lots of scratches to the LH side of the Postmans Lock Plate with finish loss, as shown. The underside plates display contact friction scratches and there is finish loss to the apex of the base feet from being placed down.

The interior is self lined suede displaying general use, darkening and flattening to the pile, particularly to the front, inner wall at the top.

Inking crackles to the sides of the top flap where they meet the bag and 2cm length where the inking hasn't covered the suede lining at the middle, top, inner front seam of the bag, (just above where the base plate turnlock is).

A very much lovelier bag in the flesh than a listing of its wear makes it sound!
