This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Small Bayswater Satchel in Oak Natural Vegetable tanned Leather with brass hardware.

The Small Bayswater Satchel shares all the same features as the Bayswater including the signature postman’s lock, leather fob, and double handles but with the addition of a detachable cross-body strap making it easy and comfortable to carry. An ideal size for taking you through from day to evening and now, so sadly discontinued in the classic style.

A beautifully thick and robust leather, quite reminiscent of the Darwin leather of old....and smells delicious!

A few very light fingernail scuffs form an inherent feature of use and aging and will continually develop and blend with time. A gradual deepening in tone and gentle patina should follow....yet to begin on this piece....but there's the promise of a really characterful finish with time and care.

No wear whatsoever, (please note the light pressure indentations to the top flap, caused by the handle inserts as is commonly found on this model,) all stitching is firm in place and the long, detachable shoulder strap As New.

Some natural, linear striations in the interior suede on the LH base panel and one to the interior LH side of the flap, as present from construction.

Top handles are firm and well shaped, without darkening and inking, (edge sealent) is all firmly in place.

Postmans Lock Plate and the underside plates are As New. 

Clean, self lined interior with a side zipped pocket and interior belt to vary the aperture.

Top Handles are fixed with mid point drop of 9cm and long, detachable strap is adjustable (123cm - 138cm end to end) with a drop of 56cm to 60cm
