Mulberry Large Del Rey in Oak Spongy Pebbled Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Del Rey (larger sized)

in Oak Soft Spongy leather with shiny, gold tone hardware.

Sadly now discontinued by Mulberry, the Del Rey is so very much missed......the longer handled, larger version, even more so as its a perfect everyday bag with fantastic capacity that you can wear on the shoulder.

Crafted from beautifully soft and almost 'padded' texture hide, its ideal in the rain too as the light sheen repels water with ease.

Details - 

A supple, slouchy hide, its a bag that will puddle when empty, (see photo above) but moulds beautifully to your side when carried. If you prefer a more structured look, you can pop a felt line inside to provide rigidity and they are fab for organisation too.

One, extremely hard to see, light curved scratch to the rear of the bag, on the upper RH side....you have to angle the bag sharply away from you to view.

Corner curves all display light rubbing and drying with a little gentle scuffing to the rear RH corner.

The shoulder straps are nicely firm and well shaped with all inking, (edge sealent) and stitching in place. Minor darkening to the undersides and a couple of small linear indentations, there is a small surface scratch to the underside of the front shoulder strap, only visible on the closest of inspections.

Protective film in place on the padlock and underside of the base plates, (latter removed to assess hardware), the main reason for the condition rating is due to the finish loss* to the lower LH curve of the front Postmans Lock Plate. Very difficult to see in normal use, there are the inevitable surface scratches, which are more visible, and rubs to the apex of the base feet from being placed down.

The interior is fully lined in thick, clean chocolate cotton linen with a leather trimmed slip pocket and zipped section. The front pocket flap is lined in soft microfibre.
