Mulberry Bayswater Backpack in Oak Small Classic Grain Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater Backpack in Oak Small Classic Grain Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

Roomy, robust and practical. The larger sized Bays Backpack, so sadly discontinued, is easy to wear and full of all of Mulberry's Heritage charm.

Crafted from a glossy and evenly grained, caramel-oak toned hide, (a finish which repels rain with ease), it's comfy to carry, easy to use and an ideal bag when you need to carry load without straining your posture.

Strong, prestud sealing side poppers to adjust the top aperture and lined in black Mulberrry Tree jacquard fabric with zipped pocket, slip pocket and suede top flap.

Details -

A naturally strong but still supple design with a firm, rigid base panel, (so you won't get bottom droop!) it's gently softened with light creasing to the lower rear but without the closest of inspections looks to be in an Excellent condition throughout.

Colour consistent, no wear to corners or curves (anything in the photos is purely light reflection,) no immediately visible scuffs or scratches, all stitching strong and top handles are excellent. There are the usual light, triangular surface impressions to the top flap from contact pressure with the back of the handle's bases, as shown.

Hardware is bright and shiny with only hairline scratches and a few tiny dinks to the Postmans Lock Plate.

Shoulder/back straps display a little waviness from storage which will even with use and there is slight cracking to the inking, (edge sealent) at each side at the top of the straps where they flex.

A couple of miniscule surface scuffs to the leather loop that secures the back straps, (see circled,) barely visible to the naked eye.

The interior is lined in entirely clean black Mulberry Tree fabric with a leather slip and zipped pocket. The suede lining to the top flap is gently ruffled.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the very small catches to the leather on the top of the interior trim. A tiny one to the rear, inner RH side and a small cluser to the inner front, between the handles, (locations circled and shown with the zoom,) caused by a claw set ring. These are unnoticable in use, do not affect the bag in any way, however has been reflected in the Condition Rating and price.
