Louis Vuitton Maida Hobo in Dune Monogram Empreiente

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Maida Hobo in Dune Monogram Empreiente with Shiny Golden Brass Hardware.

The marvellous Maida, (so sadly now discontinued) is a generous MM sized, secure zipped top shoulder or cross body bag crafted from a thick, supple, monogram embossed, grainy calfskin.

The choice of two shoulder straps, one flat braided and the other a long, wide, adjustable strap, there are also two handy slip pockets to the front for easy access to belongings.

A beautiful, dove-grey shade with taupe undertones, it goes with everything and is so roomy, robust and easy to wear you'll wonder how you ever did without.

Purchased from LV Heathrow Duty Free for £2,350 on 06.03.22 this fabulous piece initially appears to be in a Excellent condition.

Colour consistent, well shaped with a natural forward slouch, it's without any immediately visible wear.

Stitching all tight and inking in place, the braided top handle and long strap are excellent with only light surface scratches and tiny dinks to the snap hooks. Similary there are contact dinks, scratches and some darkening to the inner curves of the two O rings at each side of the bag, (where the snap hooks attach). Much less visible to the naked eye than the photos make this appear.

Slight dulling to the zip header bases and a small dot of stray inking to the LH sides zip pull leather 'knot', as shown. Present from the time of manufacture.

Scratches and silvery paling to the apex of the four base feet from being placed down.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the scuffing and minor discolouration to the corner points at the base. As is often found on designs with this folded construction, the corners can be prone to wear. Shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, this has been reflected in the price.

Lined in clean, soft, thick microfibre with two slip pockets.
