Details -

Stored carefully since purchase, protective film between lockplates and on strap ends, the first thing you notice when you take this amazing Alexa out of her dustcover is the fabulous, rich leather aroma.

The second is the wonderfully firm, thick hide, crafted in a beautiful deep, inky blue hue. A very matte finish with a fine grain, its heavenly to the touch and suprisingly robust for such a smooth hide. Semi structured but with some suppleness, its a lexy that will hold its own shape and not become too slouchy with use.

Adorned with a dizzy array of zig zagging studs and rivets all in a perfect condition, the only reason for the *rating is two miniscule scratches to the enamel inlay of the front postmans lock as this design did not have protective film, (due to the raised profile of the two 'nobbles' on either side). Just below and to the RH side of the turnlock, these are barely visible, even on the closest of inspections.

Extremely minor signs of handling to the leather, its fully lined in heavenly, thick soft black suede with a zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip section.
